One other thing to note about toddler pajamas is the fit. Children’s pajamas sold in the United States must comply with federal flammability standards issued by the Consumer Product Safety Commission. Children’s sleepwear must either be flame resistant or snug fitting. What does this mean when selecting pajamas for your toddler? Loose fitting styles are generally made of polyester. Untreated cotton is not flame resistant, so cotton pajamas for children must be snug fitting to their skin.
