The color of lace depends on a lot of factors. First and foremost, the best applications are usually camouflaged by makeup at the hairline and where the hair is parted. This is truly how you get a natural appearance because even though lace blends with the skin, certain lighting conditions can show the lace.
Most women prefer to get a lace close to their skin tone, this is the best option if you don’t want to experiment with using makeup (concealer) to camouflage the lace, then it’s best to select a shade that blends with your skin tone. If you plan to use makeup, then you should select a shade close to, or lighter than, your own.
Our standard lace colors are:
transparent: suitable for most complexions
beige: suitable for those with very light complexions
light brown: suitable for women with light brown skin
We also offer medium and dark brown lace, however, if you believe you may need a medium or dark brown lace, it is best to submit your photograph, with your custom order, so that our technicians can match the lace to your skin tone.

It really is a matter of preference. Swiss lace is less visible than French lace. We generally do not make entire caps of swiss lace on our standard wigs. If you want Swiss lace, we prefer to use it at the front hairline and crown, and use French lace for the rest of the wig. This helps increase durability.

Bleached knots help make the hair appear as if it is growing from the scalp. When hair is tied to the lace, there is a dark knot where the hair is secured. Bleaching or “lightening” the knots reduces the visibility of this knot. On black, off black and dark brown hair, the knots are lightened to a light brown shade. Very light brown and blonde and shades usually do not need bleached knots.

lace front wig has lace from ear-to-ear, which will leave you with a natural looking hairline. You may also have lace at the nape of the neck, to allow you to wear the wigh in a high ponytail. The rest of the cap is usually made of a stretch monofilament or other material. All of this is shown in the product description for each wig.
A full lace wig has a lace front, lace nape and lace cap and may be made of French, Swiss or stretch lace, or a combination. It can be glued all around the perimeter and worn in a high ponytail.
All of the wigs are 100% hand-tied and knotted. We offer bleached knots for a natural looking scalp

A lace front wig is a wig made with human hair tied to a lace base. The two types of lace used in lace front wigs are French lace and Swiss lace. A “lace front” wig has lace at the hairline (ear to ear) that is secured with liquid adhesive or tape. When the lace is adhered to your own hairline, it gives a natural hairline, making it look as though the hair is growing out of your scalp.
We offer wigs that are lace front (lace at the hairline, from ear to ear), lace back (lace at the nape of the neck, allowing you to wear the hair in a high ponytail) and full lace (entire wig base is made of lace).
All of our wigs are made with Remy hair. Remy (or Remi) hair is the complete hair strand and has not been weakened by stripping. Remy hair is created by careful processing which leaves the cuticle in place. The result is stronger, superior hair. Still, this hair has undergone some processing (such as cleaning and dyeing), so it should also be treated gently. Remy hair is often referred to as “cuticle hair” because the cuticle is left intact. Hair that is stripped of the cuticle is often chemically treated to give the hair an artificial softness and shine, which wears down over time, causing tangling and a poor appearance. Remy hair does not have this problem and is the highest quality hair you can purchase.
Each wig is handmade, with experpienced wigmakers securing one or more hair strands at a time, to the lace base. This knotting technique creates a multi-directional hairstyling, with a natural hair flow.
All wigs are treated with a deep conditioning treatment, and all knots are sealed, before your wig is shipped to you.
